We have a range of accessibility controls which you can enable to customise various aspects of your Access GCSEPod experience.
Enable accessibility options
To open the accessibility control menu, click the Accessibility Control
icon . Details of each section of the accessibility control menu are within this guide.
π Note: Changes you make to your accessibility controls are per device. This means that your settings are the same as long as you are signing into the same device, for instance, your mobile phone or laptop. If you sign in on a different device you need to readjust the accessibility settings.

Font controls
Font family
From the Font Family drop-down menu, select a font to apply to all text on the website.
β
The font family changes the look of the text, we have a variety of options including fonts specifically designed for users with dyslexia.
β
Below are examples of each of the font options available:
Font size
To change the size of the text across the website, click the plus (+) or minus (β) buttons under Font Size.
β
The change is measured by percentage, the default view is between 80% and 90% and will show as Default. You can increase the size up to 200%, or decrease it to 40%.
π Note: These settings don't affect subtitles on pods. You need to change these through the CC button on each pod.
Other controls
Highlight links
Click Highlight Links to add a blue box around every link on the website.
β
This makes it easy for you to see which images are links and where you can access different pages.
Big cursors
Click Big Black Cursor and Big White Cursor to greatly increase the size of your cursor to make it more easily identifiable.
Translate
You can change the language on your site to one of 108 supported languages.
π Note: Translations are for the navigational text across the website only. This setting doesn't change the language of any text that is part of an image, for example, the subject icons, and it doesn't change the language of Pods themselves.
