If a teacher receives the error 'Signing in to this application requires an active Access Education account' when trying to log in, this is usually resolved by clearing the browser's cache.
You may need to re-activate their Access Evo account if it has been incorrectly deactivated.
Activate the Access Evo account
You will first need to make sure that the employee's Access Evo account is active by going to the Members page and searching for their name.
If this is Deactivated, it can be re-activated by following the steps below:
Log in to Access Evo.
Click the Members
icon then click the filter
icon.Select the Include deactivated check box, then click the three dot menu.
Click Activate, then click Yes.
Ensure that you have granted the reactivated user the relevant permission, such as User or Administrator for the product GCSEPod.
Clear cache
If the employee's Access Evo acount is already active, it's possible their browser has saved a previous email address or password and will need to be reset.
To do this, please ask the affected user to follow the steps below:
Click the three dot menu in the top right corner of the browser.
Click Settings.
Click Privacy and security on the left.
Click Clear browsing data and select All time from the time range.
Select Cached images and files, then click Clear data.
Go to go.accessacloud.com (type in the link manually instead of using a link/bookmark).
Enter the email address and click Next.
If the password is unknown, click Forgot your password? and click Send verification code.
Stay on this page until you receive an email with the code. Please note it might take a while for the email to be received.
Enter the validation code and reset the password.
