GCSE Exams Are Here

Wishing You and Your Students the Best of Luck

Written by Kate Storey

GCSE exams begin this week, and we want to take a moment to wish you, your colleagues and your students the very best of luck as the exam season gets underway.

This is the point where months of teaching, learning and revision come together — and where clarity, confidence and calm matter most. GCSEPod is here to support you throughout this final phase.

Counting Down to the First Exams

As exams begin rolling out across subjects, the priority now is helping students:

  • Stay focused on what matters most

  • Use time efficiently

  • Revise with confidence rather than panic

To support this, GCSEPod has been running two carefully designed revision email series over the past few weeks - both focused on maximising impact in the final stretch.

NEW: Subject-Specific “1 Week To Go” Series

As individual subject exams approach, GCSEPod has also launched subject‑specific 1 Week To Go emails.

These focus on:

  • The exact demands of each exam paper

  • Exam‑board‑specific support

  • How Pods, playlists and quizzes should be used in the final days

  • Supporting students to revise independently and confidently

These emails are designed to be shared directly with departments, helping teachers guide last‑week revision with precision.

The GCSE Exam Countdown Series

This whole‑school series guides teachers and students through the final weeks before exams with a clear weekly focus, covering:

  • Rapid diagnostics using Check & Challenge

  • Turning revision into marks through exam technique

  • Practice, feedback and fine‑tuning

  • Final preparation, confidence and calm

Each email provides clear actions, student messaging and classroom‑ready ideas to help teams maintain momentum right up to exam day.

The next few weeks are intense — but they’re also where confidence is built.

Thank you for the work you do in guiding students through this crucial moment. GCSEPod is proud to be supporting you and your students through the exam season, and we wish everyone a calm, focused and successful set of GCSEs.

Good luck — you’ve got this.
