Check & Challenge teacher reports

Report on the Check & Challenge options by individual students or by groups.

There are several reports available for you to view your studentโ€™s activity on Check & Challenge, including:

  • Individual student reporting: View an individual's entire history with Check & Challenge, including what assessments they completed, which are incomplete, hints used, time spent, and the percentage of diamonds they earned. Use this to review an individual student's progress across different subjects.

  • Group reporting - activity report: View a group's history with Check & Challenge including percentage results and diamonds earned. You can use this to run competitions and get high-level data for a groupโ€™s activity.

  • Group reporting โ€“ detailed mark book: View a group's results of a specific Check & Challenge including question-level details. Perfect for identifying knowledge gaps in a group.

Access your Check & Challenge reports

To access the reports, click Assess then click Check & Challenge.

Individual student reporting

  1. Under Activity Report, click the Search for a student to start search box.

  2. Type the name of a student and click it.

    • This will take you to the student's profile and will open up the Check & Challenge tab.

  3. You can use the filters on the left to filter by date or subject.

  4. Click the Columns button to add or remove column to the report.

  5. Click Export to download the report as a .csv file.

Group reporting - activity report

  1. Under Activity Report, click the Select a group to start search box.

  2. Type the name of a group and click it.

  3. Use the filters at the top to filter the report:

    • Content will allow you to filter by subject.

    • Attempt Type will allow you to filter by a student's first, latest or all attempts.

    • Time Period will allow you to run the report for a specific time range.

    • Student Group will allow you to change the group you report on.

  4. Click Export as CSV to download the report as .csv file.

Group reporting - detailed mark book

  1. Under Detailed Mark Book, select a group then select a Check & Challenge.

  2. Click Go then, to view how each student answered, use the key at the bottom of the screen.

  3. To view a question and the possible answers, click the required question.

  4. To export the report, click Export as CSV.

Question detail view

  1. Click Question Details then, to sort the columns, double-click the column headings.

  2. To view a question and possible answers, click the relevant question.

  3. To export the report, click Export as CSV.

Student detail view

  1. Click Student Details then, to sort the columns, double-click the column headings.

  2. To view a question and possible answers, click the relevant question.

  3. To export the report, click Export as CSV.
