If students/teachers receive an error related to administrator permissions when trying to log in via Office 365 SSO, please check the GCSEPod app ID in Azure. If the ID ends in "3bdc", this is outdated and the app will need to be deleted in order to update the ID.
β
Please contact your school's IT department to assist with the below steps in Azure.
Log in to the Azure Portal and click Active Directory.
Select Enterprise Applications.
Search all apps for GCSEPod (look for application ID 11b8d792-da61-4976-bac7-8de9f31a3bdc).
Click the app.
Click Manage.
Under Properties, select Delete.
Make sure the app has been deleted.
Go to the GCSEPod log in page.
Select Sign in with Office 365 twice.
You will either be asked to enter your Office 365 credentials or the approval window will be displayed.
Tick Consent on behalf of my organization and then click Accept.
At this point you will either be logged into GCSEPod or you will get a 'User doesn't exist' error (if you get this error, please be advised that the process has still worked and the error can be ignored.)
Go go back to Enterprise Applications and perform a force refresh.
Search GCSEPod again and it should have the app ID starting 5f299bec.
