Additional markers

Follow these steps to add additional markers to your assignment or to mark an assignment as an additional marker.

Add additional markers

You can add additional markers at two points:

  • While setting up an assignment, on the Assignment Details screen

  • After the assignment has been published

While setting up the assignment

  1. Click Assess, then Assignments.

  2. Click Create Assignment.

  3. Select the relevant assignment type and generate the questions accordingly.

  4. On the Assignment Details screen, scroll down to Additional Markers and click Add.

  5. Search for the teacher, select them and click Continue.

  6. Once all other details have been added as needed, click Publish Assignment.

Once the assignment is published

  1. Click Assess, then Assignments.

  2. Click the Assignment tab under My Assignments.

  3. Find your assignment and click the three dot menu to its right.

  4. Select Edit and click Add for Additional Markers.

  5. Search for the teacher, select them and click Continue.

  6. Click Save Changes.


Mark an assignment as an additional marker

The assignments on which you've been added as an additional marker will be displayed under My Assignments, in the Assignments tab.

Once you find the assignment, click View all submissions and then select Markbook to begin marking the assignment.

πŸ“Œ Note: Two markers can mark the assignment at the same time and the system will not differentiate between the marks and feedback left by one teacher and the other.
