Preview and save assignments as drafts

Assignments can be previewed and saved as drafts before they are published.

Save an assignment as draft

  1. Click Assess, then Assignments.

  2. Click Create Assignment.

  3. Select an assignment type and generate your questions as needed.

  4. On the Assignment Details screen, click Save as draft instead of publishing the assignment.

  5. Go back to Assess, then Assignments.

  6. Click the Assignments tab under My Assignments.

  7. Under View by, select Drafts.

  8. Click Open draft to continue setting up the assignment, or click the three dot menu and select Delete to delete it.


Preview an assignment

Once published, you can preview an assignment from a student's point of view.

  1. Click Assess, then Assignments.

  2. Click the Assignments tab under My Assignments.

  3. Find the assignment and click the three dot menu to its right.

  4. Click Preview.

    • You will see the pop-up message below. Click the X icon to close it.
      'You are currently viewing this assignment in Teacher Preview mode. Some features, such as making progress or submitting work, are disabled in this view.'

  5. Click Let's start to preview the assignment.

πŸ“Œ Note: As a teacher, you will have the option to reveal all answers on each question. This option is not available to students.
