The Assignments dashboard

This article provides information on finding and using the Assignments dashboard.

The Assignments Dashboard is an area where you can create and manage all of your assignments.

To access the dashboard, please follow the below steps:

  1. On the home screen, click Assess.

  2. Click Assignments.

Create new assignments

  1. Click Create Assignment.

  2. You will have the following options to choose from:

    • Ready-made assignment: Pick from ready-made assignments created by our experts.

    • Quick Quiz: Assign one of our quick quizzes as homework for your classes.

    • Exam-Style Papers: Assign papers specific to your exam board.

    • Create an assignment from scratch: Use our AI teaching assistant to help craft your own assignment.

Within our ready-made assignments, we also have our Achieve Maths & Achieve English assignments for students looking to achieve a grade 4 at GCSE and our exam-style assignments which are in the style of exam papers.


My Assignments

To view your own assignments:

  1. On the home screen, click Assess.

  2. Click Assignments.

  3. Under My Assignments, select an option:

    • Overview: A dashboard where you can quickly see overdue assignments, early assignment completion, students yet to complete this week's homework or unmarked assignments.

    • Assignments: Browse your assignments and edit them.

    • Classes: View assignment stats by classes or student.


Department View

To view school assignments and browse assignments set by other teachers:

  1. On the home screen, click Assess.

  2. Click Assignments.

  3. Select Teacher View and switch this to Department View.


Individual reporting

To view an individual student's assignment report:

  1. On the home screen, click Assess.

  2. Click Assignments.

  3. Click Classes, then select a group.

  4. Click Students.

  5. Click the arrow icon for a student to go to their individual report.
