Creating your own groups within Monitor & Manage can be ideal if youβre wanting to report and analyse key target groups.
If you want to analyse and report on key target groups you can create your own groups using Monitor & Manage.

Set a group type to organise your groups into folders so you can easily manage and report. Once a group is saved, it will be available to select when setting assignments and creating reports.
Create a custom group
Click Monitor from the menu on the left.
Click Create Group.
Enter a name in the Group Name field.
Select an option from the Group Type dropdown:
Year Group
Registration Group
Class Group
House Group
Custom Group
(Optional) Add more group owners in the Group Owners field.
Click Next.
Search for student using the searchbox on the left and add them to the group.
When done, click Create Group.
π Note: You will not need to create classes and year groups manually if your school syncs directly from your MIS, as they will be created automatically.
