Before creating a new student account, please get in touch with your IT department in order to determine if your school creates accounts using a MIS integration.
Schools that use the MIS integration can create new student accounts by following the steps below:
Add the student to the school's MIS. Make sure all details such as name, date of birth and email address are added correctly.
If the student is part of any year groups or classes, this will also be managed via the MIS.
An account will be created automatically with the next data sync, which takes place overnight.
Ask the student to go to the login page.
They will need to click on I'm new to GCSEPod and follow the next steps as prompted to activate their account and log in for the first time.
