MIS integration

Most schools that use Access GCSEPod have an MIS integration enabled that ensures all students are imported from the MIS.

In this case, to change email addresses for students, please contact your MIS manager and ask them to change the email addresses directly in the MIS.

Overnight, the data will sync to Access GCSEPod and the emails will be changed automatically.

Accounts created manually

If your school does not use an MIS integration and all accounts are created manually, you can change student email addresses in bulk by following the steps below:

  1. Click Monitor from the menu on the left.

  2. Click All Students, then Export.

  3. Open the downloaded file and change the email addresses as needed.

    • You only need to change the email addresses that require amending. For students that need to change, leave the rows as they are or remove them from the file.

  4. Go back to All Students and click Import Users.

  5. Click Upload CSV and upload the file you have just created.

  6. Select the row that contains headers and click OK.

  7. Map the columns accordingly and click OK.

  8. Click Proceed and create Users.

⚠️ Important: When uploading the file by following the steps below, make sure that the ID column is added and that each student has the correct ID as exported from GCSEPod.

If the ID is missing from the file, you risk duplicating accounts instead of changing the email addresses.
