Pre-setting your student’s usernames and passwords can make it easier for them to remember and access their Access GCSEPod accounts. To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Click Monitor from the menu on the left.

  2. Click All Students then click Export.

  3. Open the downloaded file then delete all columns apart from ID, first name and surname.

  4. Add a password and username column.

  5. Populate the password and usernames for each student.

  6. In GCSEPod, under All Students, click Import Users.

  7. Click Upload .CSV then select the rows that contain headers.

  8. Match the user ID, first name, surname, password and username fields.

  9. Click OK.

All students now have a username and password set for them and you can share these details with them. When they first log into their Access GCSEPod account, they'll be prompted to enter a recovery password email address should they ever forget their details.
